[2017-07-09] ACS Colloid Meeting in New York
Prof. Kim, Ji eun, Jeong Yi and Hyeri attended the 91st ACS Colloid Meeting in New York from 9th to 12th of July, 2017. Ji Eun gave a poster presentation about “Surprising antioxidation activity of transition metal dichalcogenide nanosheets in water”, and Jeong Yi about “Electroformation of mechanically robust giant unilamellar vesicles by molecular assembly of lipids with amphiphilic triblock copolymers”. As a student in the master’s course, Hyeri gave an oral presentation about "Site-specifically magnetic NPs-patchy Janus microparticles for recoverable Pickering emulsions". Excellent, Hyeri!!! It was a great experience for all of us to listen renowned researchers' talks. After the symposium, we did enjoy having T-bone steak at Benjamin steak house, one of the most famous steak houses in New York. We also visited many tour attractions in New York area. Weather was just perfect for all these activities. We absolutely had a great fun!!!
